Austinburg Zoning News Report
5-20-2008 Zone board of appeals was held concerning the
Cox's Bed & Breakfast located on West State Route 307. The Cox's required
a zoning variance because the zoning morons would not lower the distance between
B & B's from 1000' to 500'. Cox's B&B was 515' from
the Farinacci Winery B&B. When asked what the reasoning was for the
1000' between B & B's. They said that B & B's are potential meth
houses.
Anyway zoning allowed the B&B only if the building department and our Fire
Chief gave the green light. These people lost 2
years of business because
of these ignorant fools led by Siefert and the gang.
Also discussed was
the idea of a Comprehensive Plan for Austinburg. John Kusar said he
was all for it only if the citizens of Austinburg were allowed to
vote on it. Jackie Krysa said that was
a bad idea because she felt the citizens of Austinburg were ignorant in regards
to zoning issues. What the heck is she
doing on zoning anyway.

Old Zoning: The Industrial Park's
are now Zoned for Adult Entertainment and Book Sales. That means that
retail is now permitted in the industrial parks!
Frank did not want one popping up on 45 & 90. That
brass pole can be intimidating!
