Teddy Seifert Township Job
It has just come to our
attention that Teddy took a leave of absence from his Township Road
job.
His reason was that he didn't want to stir to much controversy during the
election in order to improve
Lynn Franks chances to be re-elected to township trustee. Lynn Frank was
the one that appointed Teddy to his job.
There were more qualified applicants with a CDL* license that were overlooked in
order to put Teddy in. She even gave Ted the
same pay as an employee with a CDL license until one of the road workers complained.
He subsequently was given
a dollar an hour raise more that Teddy. In actuality it cost us $40.00
more a month or $2,080.00 per year
per employee to hire Teddy. Must be nice to just leave your job for awhile
and be assured that you can come back at anytime.
* A CDL license is necessary to operate trucks and heavy equipment. Teddy doesn't have one. Imagine that!!
I do not remember his position being advertised or posted in the wanted adds in our local paper.
Is that legal?
I will have to look into this matter more closely.
From what I understand all Township Road Worker positions are to be advertised in the wanted adds.
Teddy I suggest you resign your position and have the Trustees publicly post the position.
