Dear D & MF
My resources tell me that... The trustee's Janie Spade and Lynn Frank (only) hire Teddy Seifert (AKA Mr. Austinburg) without public notice in the newspaper or any formal job posting. Not only does Mr. Austinburg not posses a CDL, he isn't even qualified for the job. In addition, there where numerous complaints to the trustee's and maintenance garage employees about Mr. Austinburg's mowing procedures and capabilities. When Mr. Austinburg was chosen to be hired, he was paid the same wage as the other road workers, sooooo, the trustee's were forced to increase the road workers hourly wages to calm the emotional waters.
As for the sewer project The residents are in an uproar over the project costs on them for the sewer. They are seeking a solution anywhere and everywhere they can for finacial assistance and/or relief.
Let us predict the outcome will be around election time, and that Lynn Frank will be the savior of Austinburg residents' financial responsibility, with a solution, that some believe is already available but just not made public, yet! Maybe that will help her get re-elected. Austinburg is not that stupid!! Let's hope not!!!
Also, I hear there is someone that will probably be running against Barb Schaab for Township Fiscal Officer position. One of the trustee's has (let us say) found/chosen this person......Hmmmmm, let's see, who hates Barb more? Oh! that would be Janie Spade followed by Lynn Frank. Barb is doing a fantastic job as township Fical Officer. Barb does not take crap for those two, that is why they would love to see her ousted. Mrs. Schaab does not let them (go around to speak) go astray (to put it nicely) from formal procedures as they always try to do.....instance, the health insurance nightmare and the hiring of Teddy Seifert.
Keep up the great work you are doing.

I am not an insider. I just happened to know
stuff.
You can post the letter, it belongs to you. I wish to remain anonymous at this
time.
I am not a trustee and have not been appointed to sit an any boards. I am just a resident of Austinburg who has, over the years, heard and seen much. I have witnessed people in unlikable positions. I have witnessed people fall victim to the high and mighties and their minions. They have been lied too, intimidated by, misdirected by, misrepresented by, stole from and especially misinformed of very important township procedures. I think the time is getting close for and explosion of sorts and have been researching everything and anything I can get my hands on regarding this township's government, especially "The New" government.
Dan Whitmire (DW) ran Austinburg trustees/meeting when he was in office. "The New" may still bow down to his mightiness!! (Yuk)
The previous zoning administrator Fran Ontko could not wait to leave office. She was under constant pressure from Teddy Sefiert (TS) and "The New" Township government to act on their behalf and not the citizens.
I would particularly look at any zoning permits that Don Narish has personally issued or rejected as he would follow advice from the zoning board or ZBA member. (they like to interpret the zoning laws to suit them or their constituents)
Jerry Burke is a good person that is intentionally being left out of the loop.
Just keep in mind, before John Beninato, Township zoning was only acted upon under a selective zoning referendum (again,they would interpret zoning to suit them) from certain government people. They had there own agenda and criteria that they would use to decide administrative and zoning issues. (Their way or the highway! LOL)
"The Mighty's" have the need for this perverted power and are so negatively arrogant with it and in time with the help of informed residents with be there own demise.
Summary: A few are making this Township an ugly place to live and do business in. I sum it up in one word "Jealousy!!!"

Dear Farinacci's and Austinburg residents.
I was reading over your web
site. Nice update! I was waiting for it too.
We are happy to be back and
give our townspeople a voice.
I have a few conclusions, opinions and facts to share with you and your readers.
Stray attention from Dan
Whitmire (DW) and start looking at your zoning members as you have stated on
your website. Especially Ted Seifert (Mr. Austinburg), he is much more of
a threat than you might think.
Did you know that Mr. Austinburg tried to get the position as zoning
administrator? Could you only imagine
what Mr. Austinburg would have done to this township. I cannot believe Janie
Spade (JS) or Lynn Frank (LF)
did not appoint him!
There where many people that
applied to be on the various openings that were coming up on the zoning
board (ZB) and zoning board of appeals (ZBA). Many people that weren't chosen
for these positions
have been living in Austinburg many many year and have a vested interest in this
community were overlooked
for individuals that were far less qualified. They have repeatedly tried for
these positions and are turned
down continuously.
Ted Seifert AKA Mr. Austinburg
has been on the ZB or the ZBA continuously and is know the chairperson
for the ZB. How special is that!
Connie Coons (CC) resigned, thank god!
CC, I believe, now attends the
same church as TS. (the
church is becoming the new township hall!! LOL) CC came
from out of nowhere (former lake county resident) and has been on the ZB for
about 4 years. (she is weak
and
easily controlled). She is also on Country
Days advertising and sponsorship ads etc. CC asks for donations from businesses
with whom she complains to about zoning issues. Now I wonder why our area
businesses do not wish to donate to our events. (We
will never support Country Days as long as these people are in our government)
Janie Spade (JS) is in charge of
concessionaires, but country days is loosing all of the concessionaires'
business, slowly'
one by one. Even now, country days is becoming a stall (barn
type) for trustee's ZB and ZBA members. (that
church connection again)
Lynn Frank (LF) just joined in on country days, not sure what she will be able to contribute except for apples.
TS is an arrogant narcissist.
Somehow, he is able to intimidate his fellow ZB and ZBA members, and also some
of the trustees (excluding Burke).
Of which Lynn
Frank just joined the same church as TS, at TS suggestion......HMM????
I hear some of the parishioners at this church just cannot stand him, but still
somehow, he verbally intimidates his way through.
TS like to go where the action is whether he has anything to do with it or not. He even sat in at a meeting when they were interviewing for ZB secretary; why did he need to be there? (no life?)
I heard at one ZB meeting a year or so ago, a women not married but living with a man, was denied......I think to build a house. Why? From what I gathered. TS stated something to the extent, that Austinburg does not condone her life style and for the betterment of the community would not issue the permit LOL Heard he had later recanted his position and apologized to her. What a guy!!!!
The Zb is currently in the process of writing new text for the townships zoning. LF is helping with this project. I believe they are now writing the text for zoning Accommodating Commercial (AC).
In addition, TS is very, very, good friends with Evelyn Shaffer (ES) (proved to be bias in our dealing with her and she should be removed form her possition) ES lives in Austinburg, is on the Ashtabula Planning Commission and I believe, is a member of this infamous church. ES's children used to work for TS performing odd jobs around the house. TS goes to every trustee meeting, Oh, except the one's where there might be a conflict from a fellow resident for which he has a problem with, has complained to ZA about but is afraid to be confronted with at a trustee meeting. (Just indicative of your usual wimps and losers working behind the scenes and stabbing you in the back. I call it the "Whitmire Syndrome") Usually there will be a TS advocate addressing his issue. LF will always stick up and concur with TS at a trustee meeting. TS also works part time for the township. TS uses his township employment to better serve him and his advocates needs and desires. Isn't it special that after TS retires he has a part time job waiting for him. (not if someone more qualified get the position) He then reports back to the trustee's about what he has access to see and hear during his employment with the township. (your typical pansy ass snitch)
As for Diane Mongenel (DM); not sure if she is on the ZB or ZBA. DM does not regularly attend trustee meetings. Who is she anyway? (Dana's & Smokers neighbor in Ravinewood?) If you did not live in Ravinewood Acres, you would never know who she is. However, we do now! DM is an up and cuming TS advocate. (easily brain washed)
The township zoning procedures are practiced selectively at best. Seems only the ones who directly affect or challenge a trustee or ZB member are the ones targeted most often. (like my wife and I, but there days are numbered believe me)
Have you ever tried to make sense out of the township resolution book? The township is currently updating and reprinting a new book. Many of the zoning resolutions are so contradictory to each other and almost unconstitutional.
